About Amber

Amber is well rounded in her local real estate experience! She started, in an administrative position, as a part time lead generator and weekend office coordinator in 2011. She got a real estate license, in the summer of 2012, and started working as a Realtor in the winter of 2013. After 2 years as a Realtor, Amber decided that it wasn’t a good fit for her and she took a position as a Transaction Manager at a different company.

Since getting her real estate license, Amber has always said she wants to work in commercial real estate. She took a position, as a Real Estate Services Administrator, for a worldwide commercial real estate company. Unfortunately, to advance in the company she would’ve had to move to Greenwood Village for an Assistant Manager position. Although Amber had interviews to be an Assistant Manager, with the worldwide company, she didn’t move forward because she doesn’t want to work in Greenwood Village.

She tried her hand at being a Realtor again and ran into the same pitfalls she experienced the first time around. Being a Realtor is simply not a good fit, and Amber is more comfortable in a steady administrative position. She was hired to be the Executive Assistant, for the Thomas Group, in the winter of 2017, and she has met her goal of finding a place to support her growth in commercial real estate.

Before moving to Colorado, in 2009, Amber worked in the civil engineering field, in Las Vegas, as a Traffic Control Supervisor. She drew traffic control plans, with AutoCad, and was an important part of the permitting process for construction projects. She never imagined the economy plunging and seeing all the construction projects go away. Las Vegas was one of the hardest hit areas, during the recession, and she ended up moving to Boulder, Colorado as a result of the work drying up.

Amber’s raising her 10 year old son, who wants to be an actor or a surgeon when he grows up. Her hobbies include gardening, riding her bike, voiceover training, studying gemstones and precious metals, and scrapbooking.

Amber uses all her combined experience as the Executive Assistant for the Thomas Group!
